I had organized a weekend ski trip for 30 people (Professionals in our 30s) and was recommended to Jonathan by two separate rental companies. We arrived to our chalet in Lake Placid Friday night to bbq chicken, steak and healthy vegetarian options that the foodies raved about. On the Saturday morning team cooked breakfast (half buffet style, half request, all amazing) and left out Charcuterie for when we got back from skiing. In addition to cooking he also exquisitely selected and paired wine, brought all the cutlery (not plastic), and cleaned up after himself. Every single one of the 30 people would highly recommend Johnathan. We had a wonderful trip and he was by far the highlight.

Jonathan was our personal chef for a week when we rented a house for our family of eight last summer in Lake Placid. It was the best decision we made for our vacation! Juggling children's tastes with the adults who wanted more interesting menus, Jonathan succeeded brilliantly in delighting everyone. Rather than taking the time to buy groceries, cook a fabulous meal, do the clean-up, pla picnic lunches with the leftovers every day, we had time for the hiking, golf and swimming we wanted to do while, Jonathan did it all - arriving promptly, getting everything we needed at the store, adjusting with all requests, adjusting menus for special requests, planning a birthday - he made it all work beautifully, and our grandchildren still talk about how much they loved it.

We hired Jonathan to take care of the catering arrangements for 17 people at our Lake Placid Wedding late last year located in a private home. Jonathans very well organized and left us in no doubt he had it under control. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he takes time to listen to what you actually want/need. His attention to detail certainly put myself and my wife at ease so we could concentrate on everything else that day! Highly recommended.

It was so great to not have to worry about anything regarding food for our wedding. Everything was taken care of perfectly and all of our guests were happy. I couldn't say enough kind words to describe how much of a pleasure it was to put our event together with Solitude.
