About
I believe in combining modern, timeless portraiture that captures the beauty of a wedding day with emotive, candid moments to tell the full story. The way a mother looks on at her daughter and husband during a father-daughter dance, a groom's first time seeing his bride, that first instance a couple realizes they are finally married. These are the moments that you will treasure looking back after fifty years, along with beautiful portraits of your loved ones. I love becoming a part of peoples lives for a day, and allowing them to remember those moments forever. It is always an honor to document those fleeting instances.

Jacqueline was an absolute pleasure to work with at my sister's wedding. She catered to exactly what my sister wanted, someone who could capture the moment without intruding on it, someone who understood the quirkiness of our family and could role with it... She took time to chat with each of the family members and clued in to important/ meaningful moments during the wedding and reception without anyone telling her. Her second photographer was equally skilled and seemed to naturally be where Jacqueline was not. They were an awesome team and I would highly recommend them.

My experience with Jackie was wonderful. She was very sweet. I really liked that she did more candid shots, and set up poses with us that were more natural, as well as getting all the group shots that I had wanted. She was also good at keeping in the background.

Jackie was punctual and professional, and the quality of her photography was well worth the price she charged. She endured several photographs outdoors in the whipping wind on a freezing February day at our request!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied photojournalism at Rochester Institute of Technology before working in traditional newspapers for years. Since making the transition to weddings, I combine capturing moments with beautiful portraits to really show the story of your day.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always loved art, and been fascinated by people and life. Photography is the best way to combine that. It is a genuine honor to be a part of one of the biggest days of your life.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be thorough and make sure you like the work. The personality is important, but the work is the upmost priority - you should be able to trust your photographer to do a good job.
