We had a walk in shower with doors to replace an old tub and tile walls I could never quite clean. The three gentleman showed up exactly on time, carefully protected all floor space they worked in, set up in the drive with tents so they could work in most weather and removed all waste, including the old tub. Everything was done according to the agreement and when rotten sub floor was found, they immediately set to fixing the unexpected before continuing with the rest of the job. I was brought in to see each stage and double check everything was ok before they moved on to next. Very thorough, replacing everything with new material from the wall behind the shower to the drain placement. Phil followed up a few days later in case of questions and came back to the house to solve a tiny concern with water pressure- not his fault at all, but he knew what to do. The family is thrilled and it looks great.

This company swooped in for us and saved the day of a then, 2 1/2 year bathroom project that reached the "pro" level with plumbing and electrical work. After reviewing the space, Lachman and Rocky came in like super heros and this dynamic duo, put in a new ceiling fan, heat system and light combo that needed to be vented outside, new shower value and new shower handle and sprayer, tiling around jet tub and faucet, including an end space that is removable to gain access to the jet tub motor. They sheet-rocked the area over the vanity and wired the space. They sealed and encased both windows with beautiful craftsmanship. While they were working on the space, my other bathroom needed attention and Lachman, without even blinking, handled that issue in under 30 minutes. They had a fantastic working relationship with us and we felt comfortable while they were in our home and even one of the days they were with us, they were here by themselves and even were letting the dog in and out. They were kind and understanding and would not leave the space until we were 100% happy with our vision and their work. I would reccommend Lachman, Rocky and of course, Phil (the owner of the company) without hesitation to complete any job or project or vision that you may have. They will help to make your dream come true!

We chose Five Star Bath Solutions to renovate our 2 bathrooms and let me just say, we were blown away by the professionalism, friendliness and hardworking nature of Latchman and Rocky, under Phils management. From start to finish, the process was smooth and we felt confident in the ability of the team to get the job done. Extra care was taken to prevent damage to the house throughout the renovation process and my wife and I were involved at every step of the way. You can tell that Phil and his crew take pride in their work and the results tell the story. The quality of the materials used was top notch and they tested everything following installation to ensure functionality. I recently engaged Five Star to remove and replace my tub/shower, and was exceptionally pleased with not only their work, but also their fair pricing and attention to detail. The rep, Austin, who came to do the quote, was the only rep so far who took the time to look at the intricacies of my bathroom and not just sell me on a product right away. Other companies glossed over or didn't even notice things that Austin did. So right from the get-go, I was leaning towards Five Star, but when the price came back more competitive for the services offered than other companies, it was a no brainer. Next step, Phil calls me - he's the owner. It is very seldom that you speak to the owner directly in my experience, let alone that he is the one who comes to take the detailed measurements. Great guy to work with, polite, flexible, etc. Now, materials are ordered, we just wait - 4-6 weeks I was expecting, but nope, materials arrived right at the beginning of week 4. Even better! Latch and his team who came to do the install were super polite, respectful of the space, and, as another reviewer mentioned, have great taste in music. I was definitely not singing along in the other room while they worked. The install took a day and a half, just what I expected, and the end result was amazing. I would definitely recommend Five Star of Albany for anyone needing a shower replacement above any of their competitors.

I can't say enough good things about Phil and the team at Five Star Bath Solutions in Albany, NY. My daughter and her family were in dire need of a bathroom upgrade due to broken shower tiles and mold issues that were causing sneezing and allergy problems. Phil came in, gave us a thorough and professional estimate, and the job was started in about 10 days.The installation, carried out by Latchman, was outstanding. He was courteous and professional throughout the entire process. The job was completed in just 3 days, and the results are fantastic. My daughter and her family can now shower in peace, and I am assured that they are comfortable and happy. Outstanding work by both of these professionals!
