FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every water or moisture situation is different, so pricing is based on the scope of work required to properly dry and protect the property. We start with a free inspection to assess moisture levels and explain options before any work begins. There are no hidden fees. If the work is insurance-related, pricing is aligned with industry-standard insurance guidelines. For non-insurance jobs, we clearly explain costs up front so you can make an informed decision. Our focus is on doing the work correctly the first time to prevent secondary damage and unnecessary future costs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We start with a brief call to understand what happened 2. We schedule a free on-site inspection as soon as possible 3. We assess moisture, document affected areas, and explain findings 4. We review next steps and pricing before work begins 5. If approved, we begin mitigation immediately and monitor drying progress
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is trained and certified in professional water damage restoration through the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification), which sets the industry standards for safe and effective drying. We are also licensed by New York State for mold remediation, which is required to legally perform mold remediation work in NY and includes training on proper containment, safety procedures, and consumer protections. We use professional moisture measurement, documentation, and drying techniques that align with these standards, and we stay current on best practices to ensure work is done safely and correctly.
