edison and his team was able to solve a very difficult brooklyn condo shower situation. we had a crack tub and it was leaking into the subfloor. we wanted to be proactive to solve this before the leak goes to our neighbor downstairs.edison took the time to understand my needs, and worked through both the construction side as well as choosing the most suitable new tub / tiling that are aesthetically pleasing. his vast knowledge and experience in his work really shows when he is fluent in both design language as well as construction understanding. he communicated with his contractor and was able to make an efficient and effective plan to remove / demo / reinstall / rough in and test the new tub / finish and close up the bathroom.in the end, the project was done in a timely manner. communication was punctual and thorough during the entire process. we would 100% hire him and his team again for any future projects.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on fixed-fee design contracts, quoted after an initial consultation—no hourly surprises. A typical single-room design package (kitchen or bathroom) with board submission drawings starts around $5,500. Material procurement is handled at trade pricing, and I collect payment before ordering so there are no cash-flow gaps. Construction is billed separately by the licensed GC.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First a free consultation—usually a call, then a site visit. I confirm whether your building requires an alteration agreement, since that determines the drawing scope. Then: measured survey, design development, material selection, and a full drawing set. If board approval is needed, I prepare the submission package and respond to the reviewing engineer's comments. Once approved, I coordinate with the GC through construction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formal training in interior design plus 8+ years of hands-on NYC renovation experience. I've completed NYC DOB Site Safety Training (SST) and OSHA 30 certification, and I work regularly within DOB filing and co-op alteration agreement requirements.
