Ashley D'Andrea Music Lessons

Introduction: I provide music lessons for voice, piano, and clarinet. I'm a graduate of Hofstra University, where I studied music business and received my classical music theory training. As a member of the Opera program there, I performed scenes from L'Incoronazione di Poppea (Amore), Alcina (Morgana), and Orphee aux Enfers (Eurydice). I also performed a recital in my junior year featuring works from Mozart, Ginastera, and Donizetti. After graduation, I began working for Sam Ash Music, where I managed the band and orchestral department, eventually being promoted to headquarters to work with band and orchestral products. At Sam Ash's Lesson Program, I taught voice, piano, clarinet, and violin, and my students participated in a yearly recital. I work with players of all ages and at any level of study. I specialize in NYSSMA and yearly recital preparation, though students never have to perform if they don't want to. My students will learn to express their music with talent and discipline, while never losing focus of the joy that playing their instrument brings. I believe that everyone has music within himself/herself, and it is my pleasure to guide students in their musical journey!
