Introduction: I am an independent. When you hire me you have me! Many photographers are volume-based, double and triple booking wedding days and then sending out less qualified and less experienced photographers in their stead. I am yours. I am also extremely reasonable in my fees and do not sneak in exorbitant up-charges for additional requests. My very customizable packages offer a tremendous value and my brides and grooms OWN THEIR IMAGES! I am a romantic at heart. While I love shooting professional news and sports images, which I have been doing for nearly 30 years, I absolutely love capturing images of the most romantic day of your life. I love telling a story with my lens.

After years of being photographed by Al, there was no one else that I could have wanted to photograph my wedding. Our pictures turned out amazing as well as our experience of working with him. I would recommend him to photograph not only weddings, but any type of photography needed.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base package is $600 for 4 hours of my time. The best part of my pricing is that the bride and groom receive all images and all rights to the images. I do not hold images "hostage" for ridiculous upcharges. It is your day and your images. Congratulations. for additional charge, I can offer more time, professional prints and a hard-bound Memory Book.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional member of SportShooters and F-stoppers, both professional organizations for continuing education where pros across the country share best practices.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Frankly, the photo journalist business is drying up. When planning how to use my talents, a good friend of mine--who is a wedding officiant and was my former Managing Editor--suggested this field. I love it and haven't looked back.
