Just go with Christopher. He’ll really listen and bring all his skills to bear to give you exactly what you need. No hassle, and very high quality work.
I brought in a sentimental piece of furniture that was not structurally sound and he got it into full working order. Have been waiting many years to use this rather delicate French sleighbed again, and I’m confident that it will have a good life ahead of it. Will add photos once its moved into its new home.

As an architect who has worked with Double Queue for several decades, I can attest that Christopher is an excellent artisan and a pleasure to work with.
He has repaired century old furniture heirlooms for my clients, brought mid-century modern pieces back to life and repeatedly demonstrated his ability to both respect the piece while in extending its lifespan.
His skill as a restorer is complemented by his impressive depth of knowledge about finishes and an uncanny eye for color; combined these allow him to both restore on site woodwork (like handrails and molding) while blending together original elements with new repairs or contemporary additions.

As an interior designer, I work with expert craftsman and makers. The job must be done skillfully and thoughtfully, on time and on budget. We count on DQ for these qualities time and again so that our clients get the best results.
We recently commissioned a new table leaf for a client’s Gio Ponti dining table. It blends right in!
