FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free initial phone call to get to know you and your preferences!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically get to know my students first and learn what their goals are. Then I evaluate each student's instrumental level and learning styles. I tailor my lesson plans for each student based on their goals and abilities, and the type of lesson they prefer, whether it be fun, structured, strict etc. I am also opened to feedback and designing the lesson plan with my students/parents if preferred.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Music Therapy degree and Columbia University with an Occupational therapy degree. I started studying music and playing various instruments at a very young age. Throughout my music studies, I have led regional and state orchestras, participated in recitals, concerts, and musicals. I have been teaching viola, violin, and piano for many years already. I have experience working with various population including, children (w/out learning disabilities), adults, and older adults. Learning music is not just about the music itself, but it can also improve other skills!
