I had an excellent experience with BD Upholstery. I contacted them on Thumbtack for a quote. After sending photos I was given a quote considerably lower than other companies. Communication was really easy and they responded within a few hours at the most every time I contacted them. I had an old chair that belonged to my grandmother reupholstered and the quality is excellent. He also repaired some of the padding and frame. The chair looks beautiful and he even maintained and replaced the label on the chair from the manufacturer which must be 100 years old. I am really happy with the work and the value and would highly recommend BD Upholstery.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is always going to be the best compared to the big Upholstery shops in New York. Price will also depend in the kind of furniture that we're going to be working with. Every piece of furniture has a different price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a customer contacts me, I'll always ask for pictures and measurements of the furniture that I'm going to be working with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All I can tell you about my training is that I've been working in upholstery for more than 22 years.
