I have grown up around dogs as a child and adolescent. My family has had a wire-hair fox terrier named Missy for over 13 years and a schnauzer named Muffy for 12 years. We inherited my brother's dachshund for around five to six years. On my own, I owned a West Highland Terrier named Atilla for around 10 years, so I have extensive experience with mostly smaller dogs. I have dog sat my bother's larger dog, a beautiful, black Labrador mix for two weeks every year when he went on vacation. I am currently minding my neighbor's dog at her home, a West Highland Terrier named Chloe. I walk her three times a day, and feed her and provide a little play time every day for two weeks. I love all animals but dogs are my special preference because they show emotions just like us and can be your very best friend in exchange for a little, tender, loving care. I would like to care for your dog while you are away or for whatever reason and rest assured, I am a responsible, experienced dog caregiver. I prefer going to your home, which is why I prefer local. But if your dog is fully trained and good with people, my home is also a possibility. Thank you for your consideration from one dog lover to another.
