FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Patience, fun and kindness. I will work with all age groups. I teach school age children and offer NYSSMA, Orchestra and technical training and support.
I love sharing the beauty of the cello with my students. It is a mellow instrument with a deep rich tone. Students come to me for support and encouragement. We shed old past technique behaviors that may not be working and replace with correct patterns of technique with which over time make it easier and more effective to play. I encourage playing with other musicians when possible, (socially distanced and safely) it is a great way to have fun and practice at the same time. I teach the material in steps, clearly and in simple terms, adding new concepts as the student progresses. Seeing a student get excited with their mastery over the instrument is rewarding!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Masters in Education.
Music and Arts Summer Camp
Teacher was principle Cellist from the Met.
