- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I like to know their desired location, time and date of their appointment. Also the desired look for the occasion. Typically a deposit is required to hold the appointment which is deducted from the total cost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught makeup artist. However I have taken makeup classes with celebrity makeup artist Renny Vasquesz, who is the makeup artist to celebs such as Gabrielle Union, Serena Williams, Kelly Rowland and much more! I attend industry trade shows, workshops, and classes all the time. I strongly believe in updating my skills. I also organize a Makeup Artists practice group where artists practice new technique.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved all things girly and glam. I fell in love with makeup by watching YouTube. I was so fascinated by the process and began practicing on myself. Soon after I began doing makeup for my friends. Since then my skills as a makeup artist have flourished.
