About
I specialize in the paperwork most people dread and most services won't touch: nonprofit dissolutions, multi-agency regulatory filings, and complex procedural filings that don't fit a template. I understand New York's dissolution process inside and out, including how the Attorney General's Charities Bureau and Department of State filings need to be sequenced and coordinated, and I currently support post-grant compliance work for a multi-state regulatory application.
I also handle LLC and corporation certificates of change, tax record requests, and DMV paperwork including bonded titles and title work, essentially the procedural filings that are easy to get stuck on but hard to find help with. I also help individuals and businesses locate and file claims for unclaimed funds held by New York State or other agencies.
Unlike big automated LLC-formation sites, I work with you directly, one filing at a time, making sure every form, exhibit, and signature is right before it goes to the agency. If you've looked at a process and thought "I have no idea where to even start," that's exactly the kind of job I take on.
I'm not an attorney and don't provide legal advice, I handle the preparation and filing side so you can move forward with confidence, not confusion.

It was so nice to have Paul handle all the paperwork for me... I would have spent days going through it, or more realistically, just never did it and hoped the State forgot about me. Paul completed all the paperwork and just told me where to sign.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer flat-fee pricing for most standard filings (LLC/corp changes, standard nonprofit dissolutions) so you know the total cost upfront, and hourly rates for more open-ended or multi-agency matters where scope isn't fixed. My fees cover preparation and filing time only, government filing fees, notary fees, and postage are separate and I'll always flag those before we start. Rush requests carry a modest premium.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a short conversation about what you're trying to accomplish and what documents or agencies are involved. I'll tell you upfront whether it's something I can help with, since I only handle preparation and filing, not legal advice. Once we agree on scope and a flat fee or hourly estimate, I gather the information I need from you, prepare the documents, and walk you through anything that needs your signature or notarization before filing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background is hands-on rather than a formal paralegal degree. I currently serve as Secretary on a nonprofit board, which has given me direct experience navigating filings with the Attorney General's Charities Bureau and the Department of State, and I've handled multi-agency regulatory filings for clients as well. I approach every matter by researching the specific agency's requirements closely rather than relying on templates.
