- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Free Initial Consultation (15–20 minutes) — to understand your business needs and see if we’re a good fit. Hourly Rates: Typically $50–$75/hour depending on the scope of work (bookkeeping vs. advanced QuickBooks clean-up/training vs. business consulting). Flat-Rate Packages: Available for monthly bookkeeping or QuickBooks setup (starting at $300/month for sole proprietors). Discounts: Multi-month commitments (3–6 months) receive 10% off. New small businesses/startups may qualify for reduced introductory pricing. No Hidden Fees: All pricing is agreed upon upfront. Any additional services (such as special reports, catch-up bookkeeping, or year-end preparation) are quoted in advance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical Process with New Clients Free Initial Consultation – We start with a 15–20 minute phone or Zoom call to understand your business, bookkeeping needs, and goals. This also gives us a chance to see if we’re the right fit. Business & Books Review – I gather basic details (entity type, number of accounts, current bookkeeping system, past challenges). If you’re already using QuickBooks, I review your setup for accuracy and efficiency. Customized Service Plan – Based on your needs, I recommend a tailored solution—whether it’s QuickBooks setup/clean-up, monthly bookkeeping, payroll support, or business consulting. I’ll provide a clear scope of work, pricing, and timeline. Onboarding & Setup – We get you started quickly. For new businesses, I can set up QuickBooks, chart of accounts, and workflows. For existing businesses, I’ll streamline and organize your current system. Ongoing Support – Depending on your plan, I provide: Monthly/quarterly bookkeeping QuickBooks training so you (or your staff) feel confident Business consulting to improve cash flow, reporting, and decision-making Review & Growth – I schedule periodic check-ins to make sure your books are accurate, your reports are useful, and you’re supported as your business evolves.
