- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After seeing a place in person we provide you with pricing options. Usually a first consultation visit fee of $100 is charged to see the space for about an hour of time and provide professional suggestions to IMPROVE the home but this $100 is APPLIED to the full decorating or staging project if hired. I can give u the best quote in person as I can’t quote what I can’t see. We advise clients to do at least 5 areas of staging a LR, DR, MBR, Kitchen, and master bath which is on average starts at $2500.00 and up and INCLUDES moving all in and out and letting u keep it for 3 months. This price is an average as each home has different needs so price varies. During that consultation VALUABLE INFORMATION is provided to help your space saving homeowners money with our visual solutions. Sadly some people’s fraudulent intentions just wanting to get free ideas wasting our time to come out so charging a fee weeds out the unserious people -sorry to say. For the full project we require a 1/2 up front and the balance when the job is complete. Staging fee includes u keeping items for 3 months. Beyond 3 months there is a monthly rental fee of $200 a month ( on average) because that furniture cannot be used for other staging jobs while it sits in your place beyond 3 months. Pls note less time in keeping my furniture with in the initial 3 month time period doesn’t reduce the fee. The effort to create move everything in and move everything out is already structured in the fee. My prices are much lower than competitive staging companies to charge you far more.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After see the space in person we can give you an idea of price as each staging is custom designed for each home. We will tell you the crucial areas that need help. It’s essential to see a home in person in the same way buyers will experience the space. Once we agree on a price we provide an agreement outlining the areas we will cover. Once signed and deposit provided we get right to work. We ask for a 3 day window to complete but can do staging in a day depending on size of the property. The process is very creative requiring quiet and concentration for best results for you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With over 20 years of design experience in the fashion and home decor industries, I know how to ART DIRECT a space TRANSFORMING it to a truly beautiful one. Working for the 4th largest home manufacturer in the USA heading up an entire department in NYC, I designed a multitude of original products and created multi- million dollar selling programs for major USA stores like Bed Bath & Beyond and other retailers. I was couture trained fashion designer graduating from Syracuse University design program w/bachelor of science as program highly technical as well as artistic.
