Introduction: Torquil is a small studio providing one on one professional sound and video production. We have quite a lot videos on YouTube. A few of them have over a 1000 views one of them is getting over 1000 - 7000 views a day. There is also a Doritos commercial that was submitted to the 2016 Crash the Superbowl commercial. We just recorded the voice over for the new Audi R8 commercial. We have recorded vocals for contestants of NBC The Voice. I have been in the music industry for over 35 years and love my work, Its work not a job. here at Torquil we pay close attention to detail, our staff love there jobs and nothing is better that to see a happy customer leave with there product. A lot of the audio equipment here is vintage analog so you get that warm vinyl sound that is all recorded with our state of the art cubase 10.5 pro software. For video editing we use Sony Vegas Pro 13. For voice over we have access to numerous talent both male and female. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most projects I charge $25 -$30 an hour with a min block of 4 hours. unless agreed upon with the customer beforehand.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone consultation first then I like to meet them at the studio for a tour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was on the road running sound for bands for over 15 years before opening the studio I also have a background in electronics from college. I have quite a lot videos on Youtube that have had over 1000 views one this is over 924,000 views.
