Introduction: I find so much joy in the work that I do and I think that it shows! During my most recent mural job, the clients came in to see the room (a mural in their baby's bedroom) while I cleaned up and washed brushes in the other room and I could hear them laughing with total joy as they pointed out the animals and characters on the wall that a few hours prior had just been ideas and a few sketches on paper. I was so taken with the joy that was provided by seeing their visions realized and felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude that I could help them create their fantasy room for their beloved daughter.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My day rate is $625 (plus materials) but it really depends on the intricacy of the design, travel involved, and size. If an hourly rate is preferred, we can discuss those details in advance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talking on the phone to get a clear idea of what a new customer is looking for is ideal. Once I have a sense of the project's design and size, I can calculate a rough estimate. I'll then ask for some images that are exciting to my client and start sending some sketches back and forth until a final design is reached.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's in visual art from Oberlin College and I've been a working artist for over 20 years.
