What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The biggest factor in our pricing schedule is the size of the home. Age and complexity will sometimes also play a small role. The average cost is about $500-$550.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Inspectors are required to have at least 24 hours every two years...I average about 3 times that requirement!
What types of customers have you worked with?
As expected our most common type of job is an inspection of a single family home in the range of about 1,800 sq ft.
My smallest was a "home" of 592 sq ft and my largest was about 16,000 sq ft! My oldest was from about 1794!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do some research on the web. Seek out other client's experience with me.
Search the business name and the inspectors name. Read reviews and ratings from different sites.
ASK questions! Don't believe that a person is good at one thing just because they have a professional standing at something else. I have seen some of the worst home inspections performed by Architects and Engineers!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How dedicated we are to our customers and that we have worked very hard to earn our reputation and great customer reviews.
