I offer a folio of 6, 10 and 20 images, as well as wall art and custom orders. Images start at $75 each. Please get in touch for product samples and further pricing details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a complimentary consultation so we can connect and chat! I always enjoy getting to know people and finding out what kinds of images they're looking for. Each photo session is personally customized for them and together we design their unique photoshoot. After discussing creative direction and styling, we go over my production process, session details, as well as the products I offer and pricing information. I believe it's important to educate new customers from the start. Time is extremely valuable to me so it's good to go over everything to see if we are a good match. Establishing a comfortable connection is also very important, it makes the whole experience positive from start to finish which is always my goal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started doing photography as a teenager and it's been a long road of learning and growing since then! I’ve been working in the creative industry for 17 years and graduated in 1999 with a BA in Contemporary Arts/Communications and an AAS in Graphic Arts/Advertising. Since then, I've worked for many top companies while pursuing my own photography business on the side. I gained most of my related experience while working for top advertising/portrait photographers as a Studio Manager/Producer. I learned all aspects of running a professional photography studio, how to coordinate photoshoot details for very large productions, how to work with a creative team and with lots of equipment and what it takes to do a successful shoot. I’ve also taken numerous online workshops, classes and seminars throughout the years about photography, business, retouching & design and am a member of Sue Bryce Education. Sue is my mentor and an industry leader in the portrait photography world. These days I split my time between serving my photography clients and working part-time for a magazine publishing company as a production/account manager. My goal is to get to a point where I'm doing photography full-time. I believe we should all do work that we have passion for in life. It's important to hold onto your dreams and make things happen!
