I wanted to hire Ira as my attorney in my divorce case. He sounded knowledgeable and set up a meeting with me to start my case and all of a sudden In a sudden flip tells me in the next sentence that he doesn't think it's going to work out and he just dropped me And hung up on my face. I was very disappointed as that is very unproffesional behaviorApr 30, 2015VerifiedTreuhaft & Zakarin LLP's reply
I spent over two hours on three different occasions with this potential client without charge. I was never retained by this person, and did not charge her for the consults. Her demands and wants and needs were unreasonable and unrealistic, and I informed her that we were not a good match and that I would be unable to represent her. I guess the maxim "No good deed goes unpunished" applies to this person in this case.

Family Law Attorney
Mr. Treuhaft was very professional in working with me and my case. He was very helpful and understanding to my needs. I felt he was there to help me win my case and not there to just collect money off of me. I felt he was in my corner every step of the way. Thank you Mr Treuhaft.Mar 31, 2015Verified
