What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently possess a degree in finance law, and have practical experience serving hedge funds in Hong Kong with Merrill Lynch.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Always interested in the legal field, as well as investment law and finance structures.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Major firms, mostly international work. But plenty of domestic work with major firms throughout New York City.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Working with FullCycle Energy Fund on a new clean energy initiative. Although there's really no timetable on finishing the switch over to sustainable energy.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Experience counts more than anything else. Without practical knowledge of how the modern business world works, you don't have any real way of knowing how laws affect business. All the good intentions in the business world are started with a good education, but now knowledge of how these things play out in real life. Nothing can replace the value of practical expertise.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How you can make your point as concisely as possible. There are a lot of requests to get to, and usually not a lot of time. Try and make your point quickly, and effectively.
