Before entering private practice, Jenn represented hundreds of clients with The Legal Aid Society in Manhattan, handling assault, larceny, DWI, sex offense, and other misdemeanor and felony cases. She gained extensive courtroom experience litigating cases from arraignment through hearings and trial. In her final trial at The Legal Aid Society, Jenn and her co-counsel secured the dismissal of a First-Degree Robbery indictment in the middle of the trial.

Jenn’s commitment to criminal defense began well before she entered the courtroom. During law school, she worked for a criminal appeals and post-conviction firm, where she drafted appellate briefs and post-conviction petitions in murder cases. She won Best Oral Advocate in the Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Competition, graduated cum laude, and received five CALI Awards for achieving the highest grade in her law school courses.
Before law school, Jenn earned her B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo, where she received the Reginald A. Haney Award for the highest academic standing in the Legal Studies program. She later earned a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Toronto and conducted ethnographic research examining the policing and prosecution of outlaw motorcycle clubs in Canada.
Originally from Canada, Jenn is fluent in French. Before becoming an attorney, she spent 15 years as a competitive figure skater. Her background on the ice shaped the qualities she now brings to criminal defense: discipline under pressure, meticulous preparation, composure in high-stakes situations, and an intense competitive drive.
