- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees on personal injury matters are $0 up front. They are taken on a no win, no fee basis (contingency).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I fully listen to my prospective client’s situation or legal requests. Second, I offer my input as to whether I could assist them. Third, I offer my proposed resolution/course of action. Fourth, we agree on a fee arrangement and the timeline for completion (if applicable). Fifth, I get to work.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Speak openly with your prospective attorney, and try to ascertain: 1. whether they have the experience to adequately achieve your legal goals; 2. whether you feel comfortable with your attorney — communication is essential in an attorney-client relationship; and 3. whether they can communicate a clear, effective resolution with a specific timeline for your individual needs.
