FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer 30-, 45-, and 60-minute private voice lessons, both in person in Midtown Manhattan and virtually. Lesson length can be tailored to the singer’s age, experience level, and goals. I also offer discounted rates for students and select packages. Contact me through Thumbtack and I’ll be happy to recommend the best lesson option for you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every singer is different, so our first lesson begins with getting to know your voice, your experience, and your goals. We’ll sing, assess your current technique, and identify areas we can strengthen together. From there, I develop an individualized approach combining healthy classical vocal technique with repertoire that serves your interests—whether that’s musical theatre, classical singing, audition preparation, or simply becoming a stronger and more confident singer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My approach is informed by more than 20 years of professional experience as an actor and singer, including performances with the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Staatsoper Berlin, Opéra National de Paris, and a Broadway First National Tour. I currently teach Classical Voice at Drew University and have spent years studying and applying classical vocal technique in professional performance settings.
