Introduction: I'm glad to offer you saxophone/flute lessons in the greater NYC & Long Island area.
I am fully Vaccinated and boosted.
I've been playing saxophone since 2001.
Based on more than a dozen years of teaching experience, I offer lessons to students in all levels and all styles including NYSSMA preparation, basic musicianship skills, jazz improvisation, classical, pop, blues, smooth jazz, etc.
My priority as a teacher is student enjoyment. My goal is for you to love playing saxophone which is also critical for improving your skills.
I travel to my students’ homes. You’re very welcome to visit my apartment in Astoria for the lessons as well.
Also, I offer personalized recording/transcription services. If you tell me the music that you want to practice, I will record the music, transcribe it, and send it to you so you can add new music to your repertoire and practice effectively— all according to your individual level of ability and style.
I am fully bilingual in Korean and English.
Please contact me for further information.
