Introduction: Pianist, Shay Slusky and violinist, Leerone Hakami, are an Israeli couple, who met during their master’s degrees at The Juilliard School. Both musicians have performed in extraordinary venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, David Geffen Hall, and performed with world-renowned conductors, including Zubin Mehta and Alan Gilbert. Their musical studies and concerts have taken them all around the world, spanning four different continents.
If you'd like to book Leerone and Shay for an event, they can accommodate any song request and will work with you to customize your playlist. They perform genres ranging from classical, pop, oldies, Broadway, klezmer, amongst others. Event types they have played for include Broadway, wedding ceremonies, holiday parties, corporate events, cocktail hours, and many more. If you'd like a group of musicians, they regularly perform with other world class, Juilliard-trained musicians, who would be more than thrilled to join for your event.
Shay and Leerone are both huge advocates for music education, as music can aid in brain development, coordination, confidence, and relaxation. Aside from their careers as performers, the two are passionate music educators, having founded West Amadeus Music Studio. This teaching studio offers virtual or in-person violin, piano, voice, guitar, and low brass lessons to students of all ages and levels with Juilliard-trained teachers.
