FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My Show is a flat fee range from $300 for smaller events and stage shows range from $500-$1750 depending on # of attendees, date, time morning/afternoon / or evening;
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
That depends on the event, For birthday parties I usually ask a few questions about the birthday child or adult for that matter. Are they the type of person that would like being part of the show or do they like to just be part of the audience. When working with a camp, church, or scouting group I like to know if there is a particular theme that could help customize my show to that particular group? I will ask about performance conditions, i,e. will the show be in a living room, backyard, or tent? Perhaps a larger venue like a gymnasium or even a stage. I suit my effects to the concept of the event, type of audience, amount of , etc. I start working on each performance many days in advance to ensure it is an unforgettable experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Creative Writing/English with an academic minor in music performance. I was an on-stage assistant for an illusion show when I was younger and was involved in music theater for several years, I was the showmanship/routine building instructor (putting your magic show together) for the Wizard's Workshop in Maine. I've also attended intensive workshops with master magicians: Jay Sankey, Professor Collins, and David Ginn.
