My project was installation of a full view storm door and handle that I purchased from Home Depot. Ned arrived on time and ready to hang my storm door. He did an excellent job within the time he expected, even considering the storm door I purchased was for a LH swing when I ordered one for a RH swing. He was able to switch out the hinge side, install the door handle, and hang the door on my front entrance in 2 hours. It looks great and you'd never know it had to be flipped to open from the right. I'm very happy with Ned's work. Ned is personable as well as skilled and knowledgeable. I will use his services again when needed and I recommend him to anyone else who has handyman projects.

I hired Ned to repair our outdoor shed that had a rotted roof and floor. Ned was very professional from the beginning...he came out and looked at the project and provided me with an estimate within a day or so of my initial request. The estimate was emailed to me with a detailed description of the work. His price quote was in the middle of the 5 estimates I received, but I really appreciated that he took the time to look at the shed before offering a quote; also, it helped in my decision to hire him that he had great reviews. Ned was very responsive from the beginning and very easy to communicate with through Thumbtack. He showed up on time and completed the job on schedule. The project was done very well and he cleaned up after he was done.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to meet with a customer face to face at the project site to be able to assess the scope and sequence of their project and to answer any questions they may have.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My early training and education resulted from on-the- job experience with several skilled contractors with whom I worked during summers, weekends and vacations while I attended college and worked as a teacher.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started this type of work as a result of a summer job while in college.
