FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
LoBiondo Law offers clear, flat-fee mediation packages that include multiple sessions and the preparation of a New York State–compliant Divorce and Settlement Agreement. This agreement is fully enforceable and filed with the County Clerk’s Office where the parties reside, serving as the legal basis for an uncontested divorce judgment. One-time sessions are no longer offered, as effective mediation requires a complete process for meaningful progress and resolution.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Juliana begins each case with a structured initial consultation, often via Zoom, to understand the couple’s goals and determine whether mediation is appropriate. She then outlines a multi-session plan covering parenting, financial, and property issues. Between sessions, clients receive guided worksheets or summaries to help move the process forward efficiently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well, no special training or licensing is required to be a private mediator in the state of New York, thé best mediators are lawyers. Juliana LoBiondo has been a practicing attorney for over 35 years and a divorce and family law mediator for 36 years. Her training includes a law degree, NYS law license, along with decades of courtroom and settlement experience. She uses that background to help couples reach fair, efficient, and lasting agreements.
