Chef James worked with us on very short notice to create a perfect Tapas menu and was able to create numerous exceptional dishes onboard a sailing charter for our micro wedding . I can’t say enough good things about James. I’ll try to make this short and sweet. Chef James was able to squeeze me in with just 3 day notice. I sent him some different type of dishes I like and he came up with an amazing menu for the evening. He showed up an hour and half before anyone else did to start prepping. The quality of food the man put out was second to none! The flavor that the food had I was literally stunned. Not only did he do an amazing job with the food his assistant mark was by far one of the most attentive servers I ever had the pleasure to deal with. They left my kitchen exactly how it was before they started to cook. I couldn’t believe how clean everything was once they were finished. Don’t waste your time looking for other chef James is your guy! I’m literally thinking of the next event so I could hire James again. James and mark thank you guys for an phenomenal experience.

    Guests should know that the cost for a private chefs services are between $75-$125 per hour plus the cost of ingredients. The costs include: Menu planning, Food shopping, Prepping, Cooking, Storing food properly and Cleaning the kitchen.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    My typical process working with a new customer is to find out exactly what they want at their event. This can be anything from type of food, how the food is served and then how casual or formal they would like their event to be.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a CIA graduate, trained under highly acclaimed chefs Gordon Ramsay, Thomas Keller, Michael White, Matthew Accarino, Daniel Boulud and Markus Glocker. I have over 10 years of working in and running Michelin rated restaurants. I am able to cook and cater any specific party and have the ability to customize your event to make your event special and unique. I am also food safe certified in NYC and am serve safe certified.
