Introduction: I teach Saxophone lessons to beginner and intermediate players. I study jazz and I have recently been accepted into the school of music at William Patterson University. I emphasize fun and Healthy practice habits. I don’t believe that any amount of instrumental study should involve negative self speak. Learning how to critique yourself honestly without being so negative as to discourage your practice is a difficult skill that I wish to develop in my students.
