- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most jobs are fairly straight forward with hourly rates, however some big ticket items like Piano's and some Machinery required special attention and are priced differently. If you have something like this, you should contact your mover so they can ensure they bring what they need to be properly equipped for move day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There aren't many new developments in moving. I've found a lot of the best things to stay up on in this industry are the oldest tricks in the book. Working with well experienced guys with over 30 years experience with several different companies gives me access to all the tricks they've learned over the years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into moving as a part time summer job. Over time I grew to love this work, it keeps me in shape, and I get to work every day with some guys that have grown to be great friends.
