FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically write the new client an e-mail or communicate via text simply introducing myself. Then we chat about ways to begin their project. If possible, I enjoy meeting with my new customers in person as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied graphic design at Fort Hays State University for four years. After a short stint, I moved to Omaha, NE and completed my Bachelor of Arts at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. During that time, I focused on painting, but I opted to take many courses in design as well. Since then, I have freelanced in graphic design and illustration, oftentimes working with small businesses and not-for-profit organizations for the past ten years.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently completed a coloring book project for a client whose work I deeply admire. Mario the Magician is a talented magician and creator in the NYC area, and I had the honor of illustrating many of his creations for this project. I completed all of the initial drawings for the project within approximately two weeks. We then determined what illustrations would be used in this coloring book. After that, I edited the images and formatted them for print. The clients then took these illustrations and are getting the books printed and bound professionally. They will be used as a part of his show and sold to their clients. The overall process took approximately one month. I'm honored to have my artwork shared with his clientele and woke up with a joyful feeling each day I worked on this project.
