Leslie has been such a blessing in my life! I cannot say ENOUGH about how exceptional she is. She has helped me take leaps and bounds in my healing and growth journey within a couple of months. Each session I have learnt something, allowing me to take a step forward. I started with her already having done a lot of work already (of all kinds, spiritual and psychotherapy). She didn't undermine all that work. Instead, she built upon it and guided me towards healing that might have taken me a few more years but she helped me accomplish it within weeks. She guides you towards healing practices that you need and provides you with the right tools for you. Of all the amazing things about her, one that I appreciate the most is that she is always there when I need her <3 A true teammate and lightworker. Leslie initially stood out to me because of her spiritual approach. After the consult, I left feeling excited about the reconstruction that was soon to come. The more I connected with her through our sessions, the more I felt heard, appreciated and. understood. As a black woman, I was originally nervous of how she would interpret my concerns or experiences. I want to assure you, that does not apply to her. Do not let that be a reason you miss out on a catalyst to help you grow. Leslie has helped me in more ways than I can explain. She has guided me in navigating my self-identity, life philosophy, family matters, academic/career pursuits but most importantly what was holding me back. I have been working with Leslie for a few weeks now, and have had an amazing experience. What has made this such a great experience is she has relatability, listens, and gives helpful input (not just the normal therapy talk.) Leslie makes herself readily available, which is very helpful and she reaches out to you to make sure things are going well. I love the spiritual outlook Leslie has, but even if you are not a "spiritual" person, she has the education, experience, and outlook that I think is very beneficial to anyone who is seeking help. I am thankful that I have been finally able to find a therapist that makes me feel like I am not wasting time!

I have only had two sessions with Leslie. I have been searching for the right therapist my whole life. I needed guidance and insight along with true care towards certain issues I had. I can’t even explain how much my life has changed in just two sessions. Leslie is compassionate, calm, and truly caring. She understands everything I tell her and never offers something that wasn’t valuable or life changing. I can’t explain how much I appreciate her and how amazing it feels to finally stop looking for the right therapist. Leslie only works with people who are truly there to make a change in their lives. She encourages me and pushes me through her assignments. She responds whenever I need her and offers incredible techniques to combat internal issues. I can’t recommend someone more than Leslie. I finally feel like I am developing the tools I need to have a successful partnership. Covid put my already strained relationship over the edge. My partner and I were ready to call it quits. We decided to give couples therapy a try. After interviewing four therapists, Leslie stood out as the clear choice. She is really down to earth, smart, easy to talk to, and clearly dedicated to helping her clients. She made us both feel validated and seen. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not accept insurance, but I offer reasonable rates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free consult. After our consult we can decide on a day and time for our first session. I will then email you an intake form and zoom link for our session.
While all sessions are individually tailored, my general framework consists of four parts.
*Cognitive Reframing - reframing distorted beliefs and cultural conditioning.
*Body activation ( trauma lives in the body )
*Energetic healing, reclaiming lost parts
*Arts-based experiential - rewrite your story with creativity.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a BA and an MSW from Monmouth University. After graduate school, I went on to study hypno, somatic, logo, and Jungian archetypal therapies; eating psychology, nutrition; and most recently human sexuality at NYU. Every workshop, training, and degree was motivated by my need to make sense of my internal landscape, the behavior of those close to me, and my undeniable connection to the non-material world.
