What can I say? The picture speaks volumes! I've known Tom for some time and when I was ready to redo my fireplace I knew he was the Cabinet Maker to build my mantel. I wanted a 'beachy' theme to my family room and thought a piece of drift wood would make a beautiful and suitable mantel. Tom did some research on that and suggested a better and stronger wood would be a piece of Beech. So, we went on a mission and found a Beech wood log at Rose Forestry in Holland, NY. The owner even cut it to our specks! Tom took it home and began making my dream come true. He created a mantel even I couldn't have imagined! His craftsmanship is impeccable. Tom gets a TEN from me! I LOVE my mantel and receive so many compliments on it. I would highly recommended Tom to anyone wanting someone who has great attention to detail and stunning woodworking abilities.
