- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At EJA Services, we believe in honest, straightforward pricing with no hidden surprises. Pricing depends on the type of service, crew size, distance, access, and the specific needs of each move. We offer full-service moving, labor-only moving help, packing, storage, and local or nationwide moving options. Not every service includes a truck — for example, labor-only services are available for customers who already have their own rental truck, trailer, pod, or container. Most local moves are billed hourly in half-hour increments. Some long-distance moves may qualify for a guaranteed flat-rate quote. Weekend moves may require a minimum number of hours. We also offer veteran and first responder discounts as our way of saying thank you. Free, no-obligation estimates are available so customers know what to expect before booking. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a free, no-obligation estimate. For the most accurate pricing, we prefer an in-person walkthrough whenever possible. This allows us to see the size of the move, access points, stairs, parking, larger furniture pieces, packing needs, and any special details before providing a quote. When an in-person walkthrough is not possible, we can also gather information by phone, photos/videos, or an inventory list. Once we understand the job, we put together a moving plan that fits the customer’s timeline, budget, and service needs. That may include full-service moving, labor-only loading/unloading, packing, storage, or local and nationwide transportation. Before move day, we confirm the details and stay in communication so the customer knows what to expect. On move day, our crew arrives prepared with the proper equipment, protects the furniture and property, and works efficiently to complete the move safely. Our goal is to make the process simple, clear, and as stress-free as possible from the first estimate to the final item placed. At EJA Services, we make the difference!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
EJA Services has been serving customers since 2003, and our training comes from years of hands-on experience in real moving, packing, transportation, storage, and customer service situations. Our crews are trained in proper lifting techniques, furniture protection, safe loading and unloading, packing methods, truck organization, and how to handle homes, apartments, offices, specialty items, and long-distance moves with care. We also focus heavily on communication, planning, and professionalism, because a successful move is not just about strength — it is about protecting the customer’s belongings, respecting their property, and making the process as smooth as possible.
