Introduction: Drawing from his experience as an attorney and 2x startup founder, Mario guides startup founders through the intricacies of running a company and legal issues relating to the endeavor. Mario has experience with startup law, business law, and experience litigating complex securities disputes in state and federal courts, and before FINRA and the SEC.
Before founding Lattuga Law, Mario worked at one of the world’s leading sophisticated litigation firms, where he practiced securities and consumer litigation on behalf of individual and institutional investors. During this period, Mario prosecuted securities class actions against some of the largest global corporations. Additionally, Mario served as an associate at a leading securities arbitration firm, representing broker-dealers and their associated members. Mario also worked for the St. Vincent de Paul Securities Arbitration Clinic, where he helped represent underserved investors in securities arbitration claims before FINRA.
Mario received his J.D. (Juris Doctor) from St. John’s University School of Law and is graduating with an LL.M (Masters) in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University School of Law. He received his B.A. from the University of Rhode Island. Mario also completed Stanford’s Idea to Market Entrepreneurship program.
