- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The customer can always negotiate. My system is this. I don't charge more than it will cost to buy a new PC or a laptop. I'm very fair. If the customer feels is too much we can always talk about it. My main concern is that the customer is satisfy and that includes the cost of the job as well as the job itself.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently preparing myself for the Windows 7 and 8 configuration certifications as well as the Network +. I have PC subscriptions and websites for techs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Since my first personal computer in 1999 ( which by the way I still have it and it works!) I discovered that I have the ability to understand how they work. It was like second nature to me. During the course of time I found myself helping my family and friends with their problems. One day someone offer me money to repair theirs. At that moment I decided to received special training follow by the exam and ended passing and getting my A+ certification in 2006.
