We quote hourly or flat rate depending on the job, and we tell you which one up front. Blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, and all equipment are included, and we do not add separate mileage or fuel charges. Disassembly and reassembly of beds, cribs, and tables is part of the job, not an upsell.

10/10 Highly Recommend. Jacob and his crew were incredibly efficient and professional. We hired them for a large interstate move from PA to NY. They were super reasonably priced, very communicative, respectful of our space, and took great care in handling our things. In fact, I am looking to hire them for another move soon. Moving is stressful, but one thing that can alleviate that stress a bit is having great movers. Look no further, these are your guys!

I had a complicated move out of a house and studio into two separate locationsone of them 5 hours away. This was my first time hiring movers, so I had lots of questions. Jacob patiently answered all my questions and was very communicative. When moving day came everyone on the team was respectful and kind. Hercules Moving Heroes were amazing! They communicated effectively even with some significant changes to the job that was unfortunately out of their control. Still, they got it done and were professional, courteous, and absolutely incredible with the entire move. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We quote hourly or flat rate depending on the job, and we tell you which one before you book. Hourly rates cover the crew, the truck, blankets, shrink wrap, dollies, and all equipment, with a 3 hour minimum. Hourly billing runs portal to portal, meaning the clock starts and stops at our shop in Catskill, so you are paying for travel time. We say that up front rather than burying it.
There is no separate mileage or fuel charge, and no surprise fee for stairs or standard furniture when you tell us about them in advance. Long carries, pianos, safes, packing services, and full-pack jobs are priced separately.
We are not the cheapest option in the area and we do not try to be.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. We respond to your request, usually the same day and often within the hour.
2. We ask about locations, inventory, access, stairs, and timing.
3. You get a written quote with the crew size and rate spelled out.
4. Once you approve it, we take a deposit of up to 20 percent to hold the date.
5. On moving day the crew arrives with the truck, blankets, shrink wrap, and dollies, and we walk the space with you before we start.
6. We do a final walkthrough at the destination before we leave.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our crews are trained in safe lifting, furniture disassembly and reassembly, protective wrapping, load balancing, and truck loading. We run under USDOT #4551103 and carry workers compensation through NYSIF.
Training happens on the job with a lead mover on every crew. New movers do not run a job alone.
