Introduction
It's Your Day. It's Your Story. Let us help you tell it. Long after the flowers have faded and you've attempted to eat that piece of wedding cake you kept in the freezer, your memories will live on. Photography and videography are key to keeping and sharing these memories in your happily ever after. It is important to get to know your photographer and like him/her, not just their work. We want you to remember the moments, your family, your friends. We don't want you to remember us when you are sitting on the couch flipping though your wedding book and reminiscing. It is our goal to be as unobtrusive on your day as possible while still capturing these memories for you. Hi. I'm Steve. I have found my passion in photographing weddings. After shooting my first wedding (which was a last minute, three day notice, emergency for a co-worker) I realized this is what I want to do with my life. Maybe I'm a romantic, I'm not sure, but here I am. I have a background in engineering and theatrical lighting. In fact there is where my interest in photography began. I photographed the shows I designed lights for in a local theater since the professional photographer insisted on using a flash. I wanted to capture my light. The actors liked my photos better so I figured I should look into this. I took classes at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and practiced every chance I could. Since then, I have shot over 75 weddings. I've also had my fine art photography in several local galleries and have been published in magazines and newspapers. It is still not a full time business but I'm lucky enough to work as a corporate videographer for a large financial institution, which I also love. And because of that experience, I am now offering videography services for weddings as well. I work with several other photographers in the area. I felt it was important to do my best to create a large network of wedding professionals so I have plenty of photographers to bring in as second shooters or back-ups. I am truly blessed to be doing what I feel I was meant to do. I am not great at talking about myself but I do feel it's important that you get to know your photographer. They are the only vendor that is with you from the beginning of your day to the end. If you decide to have me do your wedding, I want to make you feel like you've hired a friend, so please feel free to ask me anything you would like to know. Thanks, Steve

Working with Steve was a wonderful experience!!!! When we first met him, we knew instantly that our wedding pictures were going to be amazing...and they were!! He was easy going and very informative. From our first meeting to the day he dropped off our completed wedding album, he was extremely professional, friendly and easy to work with. Steve was also very affordable and an album was included in the package. He captured every shot and the photos were just beautiful!! Steve really listened to what we wanted, but also included his thoughts and ideas for great pictures. We could not have been more happy with his work and I always say finding him on Google was the best search I ever did!! Almost 4 months after our wedding, we still hear wonderful compliments from our guests on Steve's cheery disposition and professionalism. He captured every moment of our day through photography and we can't thank him enough for these amazing memories!!!!!!!!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Most of my work lately has been weddings. I also do quite a lot of head-shots and theatrical photography.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When planning out your wedding day, always leave more time than you think you need for the formal photos between the wedding and the reception. Most weddings run longer than you plan (either they start late or the receiving line runs long) and your friends and family all want a talk with you after the wedding, so you never have the time you want for your photos.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I wish they knew how much time is spent before and especially after their wedding working on their photos. I think when clients see a photographers pricing for weddings they think it's way to high for one day's work. And for one day's work, they would be right. But they may not realizes all the other days involved in editing and preparing the photos to be presented to them.
