A sophisticated, fun, retro band that performs a mix of world music hits, jazz and some pop and originals - we've got a sensuous, international style, somewhere between Pink Martini and Melody Gardot. We’ll take you on a magical musical journey around the world (songs in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Hebrew, Ukrainian, and Yiddish). My specialty is French chanson (I have a Ph.D. in French literature), so I love creating a romantic atmosphere at weddings/engagement parties. I have been performing in a variety of bands for the last fifteen years, playing at festivals (notably, Best of France @Times Square/2015), jazz clubs (Regattabar, Ryles), restaurants, corporate events, weddings, and birthdays. We prepare for each event by collecting information from you on your audience, venue, surroundings, and most importantly, musical preferences, to make each event most special and magical.

Vlada was fantastic at my wife’s birthday lunch—beautiful voice, great energy, and an amazing presence. The bassist who played with her was outstanding and added so much richness to the music. Vlada made the day feel truly special. It was a performace just for the two of us. Highly recommended!
