About
A sophisticated, fun, retro band that performs a mix of world music hits, jazz and some pop and originals - we've got a sensuous, international style, somewhere between Pink Martini and Melody Gardot. We’ll take you on a magical musical journey around the world (songs in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Hebrew, Ukrainian, and Yiddish). My specialty is French chanson (I have a Ph.D. in French literature), so I love creating a romantic atmosphere at weddings/engagement parties. I have been performing in a variety of bands for the last fifteen years, playing at festivals (notably, Best of France @Times Square/2015), jazz clubs (Regattabar, Ryles), restaurants, corporate events, weddings, and birthdays. We prepare for each event by collecting information from you on your audience, venue, surroundings, and most importantly, musical preferences, to make each event most special and magical.

Vlada is an amazing performer and did a beautiful job at our wedding performing songs in French, English, Yiddish and Spanish. Her rendition of Hymne à L’Amour brought everybody to tears. Vlada sang songs that were jazz, French and American Classics (La Vie en Rose, C’est si bon, Fly me to the Moon, L-O-V-E) and interpretations of popular music (Beatles, John Lennon, Elvis and Alicia Keys) and the mood was exactly the elegant New York City nightclub vibe that we wanted. Vlada sang and performed on guitar and brought a second musician who played the keyboard. He was great too! The music was just perfect and enjoyed by everyone! Vlada is a lovely person and very easy to work with and what she charged was reasonable for the event. Highly recommend!

Vlada was excellent. She performed for my team event at a rooftop and truly added to the charm of the party. All our guests raved about her singing and choice of music. She was very easy to work with, I would highly recommend.

Vlada was fantastic at my wife’s birthday lunch—beautiful voice, great energy, and an amazing presence. The bassist who played with her was outstanding and added so much richness to the music. Vlada made the day feel truly special. It was a performace just for the two of us. Highly recommended!

Vlada is incredibly talented! We booked her jazz trio for our company holiday party, and they were a huge hit.
