I dreaded having the main rooms of my 1860's house painted, so feel very lucky to have found Juliano da Cruz. Super professional and knowledgeable, he impressed me with his thoroughness in evaluating each room and the promptness and detail of his room by room estimates. Low-key and pleasant, he was helpful in choosing the colors, had excellent suggestions about how to treat architectural features, and explained very precisely what would be done and how. The execution was equally impressive. I moved out of the house for two weeks while the painters were working. Mr. da Cruz checked in several times, emailed me pictures and did exactly what he promised. When I got home, he asked me to make a list of needed fixes--which turned out to be tiny--and is bringing the head painter back to make them. An incredible experience!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To provide an accurate estimate, we meet with you in person to evaluate the condition of the surfaces, scope of work, square footage, colors and finishes, and other project details that affect the price. We offer a professional service and therefore we DO NOT provide pricing based on photos, Zillow links, or floor plans. After an in-person evaluation, we provide an estimate tailored to the work involved.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with an in-person site inspection to review the project, assess the condition of the surfaces, understand your needs, and determine the best approach. We then provide a detailed written estimate by email, followed by a meeting if needed to discuss colors, paint finishes, and other project details. Once the project is approved, we confirm the start date and assign an experienced Foreman to oversee the work. From start to finish, your project is managed and inspected by a Foreman with more than 10 years of painting experience, working closely with our Project Estimator to ensure proper preparation, clear communication, quality workmanship, and attention to detail throughout the process.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first paintbrush was given to me by my first employer—my dad—on my very first job in March 1997. From there, I went on to work for large painting companies, where I developed my technical skills while also learning the importance of professionalism, running a business, and providing exceptional customer service. Those experiences have shaped the way I approach every project today.
