What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, pricing is available via the services tab on my website makeup by tierney dot com. if you have questions just ask! I normally run specials during the winter months.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients. Many of my past clients have become friends. It is important for me to gather as much info as possible about the look that the client wants to achieve. I always ask about their dress, their hair and for inspiration photos. I recommend consultations prior to big events so that the look is fine tuned.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a New York State Licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist. Did you know that in NY state makeup artists are required to be licensed to accept money in exchange for beauty services? I'ts true and it's a good thing because I am fully trained in sanitation. Nothing is more important to me than protecting my clients health. Many hobbyists do not have the same training and education. I currently work for several makeup and skin care lines such as it Cosmetics, Mineral Fusion and Juice beauty. I work often and am constantly perfecting my craft.
