Project Grief Coaching

Some losses take a person. Others take a version of your life you had already built plans around: a marriage, a career, a future you were counting on. I coach adults through both. My own starting point was my wife's death from cancer, which I wrote about in "Torn Pages From A Broken Heart." I'm a widowed father of three who had to take apart and rebuild everything, including who I thought I was. The framework I use came out of living it, not out of a textbook. The work is practical and forward-looking. Who you are now, the decisions sitting in front of you, and how to move forward without having to pretend you're fine. I work with people over three months, because that's what it usually takes for real change to settle in. If you're looking for something shorter, I understand, and I'd rather point you somewhere that fits than start something that won't. I also run small groups a few times a year, for people who find it easier to do this alongside others carrying something similar. If the timing lines up, I'll let you know when the next one opens.
