For the record: No appointment was ever scheduled with you. We offered a free inspection and proposed a time slot, but you never confirmed it. Yet here we are addressing a baseless, defamatory review written as if a scheduled service had been missed. That is simply false. You claimed to represent AT&T, yet your behavior throughout our communication was entirely unprofessional. You were overly aggressive, repeatedly pushed us to open suspicious emails, and came off more harassing than legitimate. Our email security flagged your messages immediately—warning us not to click links or open attachments. Out of caution, we investigated further and found that your domain leads to a generic, poorly made GoDaddy website with no verifiable connection to AT&T or any legitimate operation. This alone casts serious doubt on your credibility. We initially disputed your first review with Thumbtack and, based on the evidence we provided, it was successfully removed. Then, inexplicably, you reposted a nearly identical review—and this time, despite even more documentation proving this lead was either fraudulent or potentially malicious, Thumbtack allowed it to stand. It’s disappointing, to say the least. If Thumbtack truly reviewed the facts, they’d have to admit this was not a valid lead—one we paid for out of pocket. But instead of taking accountability and refunding that lead, they let this false review remain, which speaks volumes about their priorities. We are committed to professionalism and transparency. We proudly serve legitimate clients every day and protect our brand’s integrity to the fullest extent. We will not stand by while individuals attempt to tarnish that with lies, manipulation, or fake credentials. To Thumbtack—we strongly recommend re-evaluating your internal processes for handling disputed reviews. Your platform should be supporting real professionals, not enabling abuse through negligence or profit incentives.
