What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
More than a decade of combined experience in media (2006-2016):
- Performed many public speaking and writing tasks in general speaking and writing for
specific needs: advocacy, creative copy, promotion, blogging, editing, screenwriting, stand-up comedy.
- Wrote newsletters, press releases, conducted research, etc.
- Wrote and performed promotions including on-air segments, film and radio script writing and editing, line editing, intensive editing, etc.
I love seeing other writers' work while also being able to keep up with the latest information and cultural trends.

Reduced rates are available with student ID.
Editing: $3-$7.50 per page.
Writing: 1-3 ms pages/hr
Writing, fiction: $50-60/hr
Writing, ghostwriting: $50-60/hr
Writing, grants/proposals/sales/PR: $50-60/hr
Writing, journalism: $40-50/hr
Writing, medical: $60-70/hr
Writing, nonspecific: $40-100/hr
Writing, technical/trade: $50-60/hr
Speech writing: $100-$500
Full length songwriting for personal use only: $300-$700
In-depth, lengthy poetry for personal use: $50-$80
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It's one thing I do VERY well... as opposed to say, calculus or hunting. I love it! I love the power of words and being creative it general! I love helping others be their most creative and their best selves possible! It is truly a gift to be able to make others happy no matter what the profession might be. If you find your bliss, you should follow it whenever possible because it is exactly that rewarding!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I edited a health and wellness blog and the client was elated with the way I was able to make her intended points clearer. She said she felt like I knew her very well. I love when it all works out like that! I'm very grateful for my ability to help others in such a substantial and uplifting way!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be kind. Be humble.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It can be draining. I personally like when customers are polite, patient, truthful and fair-minded. Be kind.
