I have over a decade of training experience and getting results. I have been training dogs my entire life, but officially started my professional career and business in 2009. I have experience in everything from basic obedience, puppy basics, police work l, behavioral rehabilitation, and service / medical dog work. I have several packages available Private Training: Pay per session: $165 Package of 5 classes: $500 Board & Train: 3 Week Program: $3000 5 Week Program: $4500 Prices do not include NY State sales tax or mileage where applicable. Michael is a wise & effective dog trainer. Everything he has shared so far has worked like a charm. He takes time to fully explain what is needed for the dog and ways to deliver those needs that fit your personal situation. What I love most about him is his character. He focuses on the needs of both the dog and the family. He is a patient, kind, gracious man. It would be impossible now to see myself hiring someone else. Samson really likes seeing him. I deeply regret my original review which was not on target, relevant or fair. While it couldn't be removed, I hope this sets the record straight. If you ever had a moment you wish you could take back - that review was it for me.

Michael came to our house and did a consult/training session with our 13wk old rescue puppy and did a wonderful job in a very short period of time. Our dog is a bit skittish around new people and was very comfortable around Michael.

Mike is awesome! My dog was able to learn so much in a very short time! Mike is also extremely accommodating to your needs, he also really explains to you why things work a certain way so you completely understand how to make training beneficial. I have gone to multiple trainings with my dog and none have benefited until now.

This was such a great experience! My 3 month old puppy was part of the board and train program and learned so much at such a young age! After her board training, I was taught how to maintain everything at home! Best of all, expert advice is only a text message away. I still ask questions all the time. So thankful!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
This has been something that has literally come naturally my entire life. I've been training dogs since I got my first puppy at around the age of 8.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take your time and find the right trainer! Most of us (if not all) are in it for the same reason, to help you. We all have different teaching styles and we all have different training methods! If you find a trainer you most trust, your 80% of the way to having a successful training session.
