He is also known as Coach Bertino, helping kids in Monroe County for over 40 years, most recently varsity baseball coach at Pittsford Mendon (23 years) and U-Prep (4 years). During this time he has run many free clinics for youth, with the main theme “Good Deeds”. His teams have also helped the elderly with yard cleaning in the spring.
