Justin Belkin is efficient, knowledgeable, and responds quickly. I have a complicated Tax Return: real estate, investments, and foreign entities, etc. I searched for a new accountant/ Tax Preparer because my previous CPA did the bare minimum and charged me way too much for the little service I received. Communication with Justin was incredible; I felt confident and reassured that my return is in good hands. My first meeting was on video, and the second meeting was in person. After we communicated through email exchanges all the way to the draft; he was thorough. His overall performance was excellent. Tax Boss uses straightforward, upfront pricing based on the complexity of your return. Individual tax preparation generally starts at $350, with pricing increasing for more complex situations such as self-employment, rental properties, multiple states, investments, or business income.

I’ll confirm the expected fee before we begin so there are no surprises.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a brief conversation about your tax situation and what you need help with. From there, I’ll provide a secure way to submit your tax documents, review everything for completeness, prepare the return, and follow up with any questions that come up.
Once the return is complete, we review the results together before filing so you understand what you’re signing and have an opportunity to ask questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m an Enrolled Agent (EA), a federally licensed tax professional authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS, and I also work as a Senior Tax Specialist with H&R Block.
In addition, I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Oxford, and have taught finance at the college level.
My experience in tax preparation, financial planning, investments, and finance allows me to look beyond simply entering numbers on a tax return and understand how the pieces of a client’s financial life fit together.
